Amazing film like CCD color on this one! Suprisingly ISO performance seems to be close to the D200. an improvement over earlier Nikon cameras. Please check link below due to jpg artifacting that happens when dropping in photo files into a video flic.kr/s/aHBqjB4oRC

Great tribute to Carlos, man. I miss that era of UA-cam. It was a much more pure era. Less corporate influence, less sponsors and it was more genuine. I miss that point and shoot review era. Now everything is so polished and just doesn't have the heart it used to. Carlos was a big part of that. He was so genuine.

Was it hard to take headlights apart?
yes they broke and had to superglue the whole thing back together. probably just wasn't patient enough with the heat gun
Going back to watching Carlos' videos and the kinds of case reviews and products back then i wish they had for modern phones today. I remember watching his videos back in the day and my thoughts exactly about not having any apple products because i was switching between android and blackberry phoens during the times i was watching his videos.

Just randomly thought of "heyguysitsmemorphius" 😂. He was the OG of iphone reviewers 😢. I was one of his original subs. I remember him going through his illness and thinking "please dont take him away from us. He disappeared and i remember one day, we got the news.....i broke down and cored like a little girl. R.I.P. Carlos...youll never be forgotten ❤
I'm watching this at the tail end of 2023. Carlos was the OG tech reviewer for me. I’m still subscribed and watch his videos from time to time. The man had the “gift of gab,” didn’t he? Even he knew he could ramble on a bit, but I never really minded it. I actually enjoyed his longer videos and watched them all the way through, even if it was for a gadget I didn’t have or want. He mentioned he was previously overweight in some videos, but it’s pretty clear he lost that weight for most if not all the videos posted to his channel. I *suspect* he died due to complications with a previous surgery (lap band, maybe?), but that’s pure speculation on my part based on listening to his videos. I do miss his style of putting out review videos after knocking off from work, with his cat Tressa meowing in the background while doing his best not to wake his girls up. His videos weren’t nearly as polished as reviews are today, but they were genuine if nothing else, and quite relatable. Here’s to Carlos! 🍺
i bought this same laptop also. i spent $120 on the laptop on ebay and spent another $40 on 16GB of ram and a new battery the laptop did not come with a battery installed. i love it, its very light and thin battery has lasted all day. i play to upgrade the sata ssd sinces its much slower then a nvme

I just got a "excellent" D4 from MPB. 1416 clicks! Like new body with like new charger and Nikon battery, strap.. $900. Couldn't resist.

Yes that's for sure. It has a strong CPU and the RAM you need, so it will take most games easily.

I sent this one back and got one with half the clicks for the same price. Yes you can find them for dirt cheap sometimes. Most of them with low clicks are still selling over 1k

@@diogokorreia From a local guy in Belgium. He was selling all his stuff as he was terminally ill and wanted the stuff gone before he was as he did not wanted to burden his wife with that. He set a low start of 750 andd I bid 800 before I knew he was ill and he accepted. When I heard that he was ill I offerd to pay more as it was really a low price but he said it was ok.

i got this model with touchscreen, the battery issues is terrible. ended up having to remove the battery for the PC to work properly. when the battery worked fine, the battery life was excellent.
I ended up getting i5 model with upgraded SSD and RAM. I bought larger battery and now it works as I expected.
Just purchased a D4s for $380 w/o battery on eBay. Waiting for it to arrive to see what flaws it may have

@@diogokorreia turned out to be a D4 instead. I decided to keep it only to realize the the point of focus when using the viewfinder is slightly off. Live view works perfectly though

Hi! I'm looking to get this laptop with the 8gb ram configuration and I'm planning to use this for a programming course in which we'll be programming with python and R. Just want to know if this laptop will be satisfactory for that use?

the machine just ins't very power efficient most intel laptops wont get more than 3-4 hours of life. you may also have the smaller battery like mine

Battery life hours
as mentioned the battery is the smaller one and is most likley not at its full capcity anymore. I got around 2 hours just web browsing.

if you have a splitter yes. I use a usb c port dongle and the onboard hdmi
